PARISI EVALUATION
Audience: Ages 7-18
Until an athlete knows his or her current level of ability, it is impossible to realistically recommend programming, create goals and monitor progress.
The Parisi Performance Evaluation is mandatory for every athlete who enters the Parisi program. During the evaluation, athletes are taught our signature Active Dynamic Warm-Up, are examined during our Running Analysis procedure, and tested in a battery of physical speed and strength movements. After the evaluation, every athlete and parent meets individually with the Evaluator to review the results and select the appropriate program that fits the athlete’s needs.
Performance Evaluation is critical to every athlete in our program for four main reasons:
Assesses the current level of an athlete’s ability
Allows proper placement in our variety of programming
Provides individualized coaching and focus
Records and monitors progress toward success

P.E.A.K. (PARISI ELITE ATHLETIC KNOWLEDGE)
Audience: Ages 7 & up
Focus: Training for those aspiring to compete at the highest levels, this program provides sport specific training for athletes. (NOT SKILL SPECIFIC)
The Parisi PEAK Program was created for elite athletes who aspire to compete at the collegiate, Olympic or professional level. Delivered in semi-private sessions, this program identifies the skills that are necessary for an athlete to reach their potential at a specific sport and provides them with the training necessary to help turn “potential abilities” into “actual abilities.”
The program focuses on an athlete’s individual needs for a specific sport and desired improvements. This high-level training aims to develop an athlete’s specific talents, while at the same time turn their weaknesses into strengths. PEAK can be added to our Jump Start and Total Performance programming to provide a comprehensive athlete training program or it can stand on its own to work only on specific needs and is also taught by certified Parisi Performance Coaches.
PEAK has been proven to help athletes:
Run their fastest sprint time ever
Increase vertical jump
Break their all-time max lift
Maximize agility
Basic Strength
Audience: Ages 11-15
Focus: Build an early foundation of strength and understanding of body mechanics
Perfect for the beginner athlete, the Basic Strength program introduces strength training concepts with an emphasis on proper form, movement patterns, bodyweight resistance training, progressive programming and injury prevention. This program develops the foundation for an athlete’s relative strength while teaching optimal body mechanics in a safe, fun environment.
A common myth is that resistance or weight training is dangerous for young athletes. Current medical research has found that nothing could be further from the truth.
Youth resistance training helps athletes:
Develop motor skills, understand muscle mechanics and become more coordinated, stable and strong
Strengthen bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons
Decrease chance of injury on the field
Understand proper technique and form
Build self-esteem
Advanced Strength
Audience: Ages 13-22
Focus: Sport-specific strength training for those aspiring to compete at the highest levels
As a component of our advanced programming, Advanced Strength provides a sport-specific protocol for the high-level athlete to develop strength in areas that will directly transfer to their chosen sport. This high-level training pushes athletes to the next level, giving them a competitive edge as they prepare to compete at the high school, collegiate, Olympic or professional level.
Properly programmed strength training is a crucial element in developing blazing speed for today’s athlete. A term we like to use at Parisi is training athletes to be “strong enough” – building enough strength relative to body weight.
Athletes in Advanced Strength will:
Strengthen knowledge of body mechanics and movement patterns
Reinforce understanding of the proper form for the squat, deadlift, bench press and more
Perform properly progressed and regressed movements as well as program variations for optimal strength development and athletic performance
Team Training
Take Your Team To The Next Level
Coaching Is About Teaching The Right Fundamentals
Parisi Method 4 (PM4) is another revolutionary approach from Bill Parisi. PM4 incorporates four fundamental and essential elements that are proven to be game-changers for coaches who are serious about team training, reducing the chance of injury, reaching their physical potential, all while building confidence and bolstering team unity.
Parisi has been training teams for success for over 25 years. Our proven PM4 methodology has helped coaches and teams from all sports improve their game, increase their record, and win the big one! Using many of the same techniques our founder used to train professional teams, as well as prepare aspiring athletes for the combine, we can help your team benefit from his proven success.
Where Do You Stand?
If you are between the ages of 7-18, step up to the starting line and see where you stack up by taking the ultimate athletic skills test… the Parisi Nation Challenge. Here, athletes will participate in a variety of drills testing speed, agility, explosiveness and strength, such as:
The 10-yard and 20-yard sprint
Vertical and Broad Jump
5-10-5
By taking part, athletes will be able to identify areas where they have improved since enrolling in the program, while at the same time, receive feedback on how they can continue developing their game and compete against athletes not only at their facility, but all over the country.
There is no cost to Parisi Nation Challenge but we do require that athletes bring their “A,” game and a desire to leave their mark on the combine course. Contact us today to take on the challenge!
Parisi Speed School FAQs
-
The amount of training per week depends on the specific Parisi program. Some programs are unlimited, while others are specific to a number of days per week. The optimal amount of training per week again depends on the program, but in general 2 – 3 days per week is average.
-
The best programming for your youth/athlete depends on the his/her goals, and yours. The only way to determine the best fit is to contact your local Parisi and book an evaluation. During that time, the Parisi staff will discuss the results of the evaluation, along with goals and recommend the most appropriate program for your youth/athlete.

Sports performance training is a relatively new term. It focuses on training a young athlete to be the best he/she can be in his/her chosen sport. The training includes the foundations of any good athlete: speed, agility, strength and self-confidence. And, an added benefit of good sports performance training is a reduction of sports related injuries.

Our Game Time and Jump Start programs do not include weight lifting, but use body weight techniques to increase strength in a safe and effective way. Athletes in our Total Performance and PEAK programs will incorporate carefully scripted and monitored weight lifting into their programs. All of our strength scripts for these programs have been written and approved by experts in the field of youth sports performance. You can rest assured that your athlete will be well taken care of in our programs!
-
Results depend on the effort your youth/athlete puts into the program. Most youth/athletes who come 2 – 3 times per week and are engaged in the sessions will feel and see immediate results, but you will begin seeing results after only several weeks. If you ever question your youth/athlete’s progress, the Parisi staff will be happy to conduct an updated evaluation.

Our founder, Bill Parisi, has been training young athletes for 25+ years. His methodologies and programming where built for youth, NOT an adult program that is “customized” for youth. Additionally, Parisi coaches are certified to train youth, which is a different set of skills than training adults. Parisi has been in the business of training youth since our inception…it is not simply another market beyond adult to sell for us!
